Ray H. Carlson is a clinical psychologist who has been tasting and evaluating fine wine since the 1968 vintage. He has been personally acquainted with and evaluated wine with some the most famous winemakers in California wine history, such as Joseph Swan and David Bruce. He has advised restaurants on their wine lists and wine shops on their inventory. He also writes a monthly newsletter on selected wines.
